Lumora Player – Privacy policy

Draft for the test build · last updated 28 Oct 2026 · placeholder name, publisher details to be completed before store release.

1. What the app is

Lumora Player is a media player. It does not provide, sell, host or include any TV channels, streams, playlists or other content. Users add their own sources and are responsible for having the right to access them.

2. Data stored on your device only

Playlist links and files, Xtream Codes server/username/password, EPG links, favourites, recently watched channels and settings are stored locally (browser storage / IndexedDB on the device). They are not sent to us. We do not operate user accounts in this version.

3. Network connections

The app connects directly from your device to the playlist, EPG and stream servers you add, or through a local proxy that you run yourself. Those third-party servers have their own policies. Channel logos are loaded from the addresses given in your playlist.

4. Optional anonymous diagnostics (off by default)

If you enable “Share anonymous reports”, the app may send: error type, stream protocol (HLS/MPEG-TS), device platform (e.g. Tizen, webOS, Android), app version, retry count and a time rounded to the minute, plus a random per-session id. Stream links, playlist links, server addresses, channel names, usernames, passwords, MAC addresses and IP-like strings are removed before sending. You can switch it off at any time.

5. Update check

The app downloads a small configuration file (latest version, notices, feature flags). No personal data is included in this request.

6. Deleting your data

Settings → “Clear all data” deletes everything the app stored on the device. Uninstalling the app or clearing site data has the same effect.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data.

8. Contact

[publisher name and contact email – to be completed]
